Byline: Katie Maurer Burl Adkins, 55 Burl Adkins says he looks the same way he did when he graduated from high school and he owes it all to being fit. The owner of Global Technology Associates Ltd. in Southgate has been focused on staying in shape for the past 12 years. "As a CEO of a company I feel being physically fit shows leadership and discipline,'' Adkins said.
Adkins' workout concentrates on cardio as well as muscle fitness. He walks four miles and does 500 crunches and leg extensions five times a week. Light weight training three times a week rounds out his routine. Joseph Ahern, 48 Life as a trial lawyer gets pretty stressful for Joseph Ahern.
