Credit Acceptance Corp. Call it the comeback of the year. Last July, Credit Acceptance Corp. was possibly the state's unlikeliest candidate to be a stock superstar.

On July 20, its stock hit its yearly low of $12.08, off from a high in January of $24.97 on news it was being delisted by Nasdaq for not meeting quarterly reporting deadlines. The reason it missed the deadlines is that in April its auditor decided its earnings for recent years would have to be restated.
