Metaldyne touts new deal.(News)

Byline: Brent Snavely Plymouth-based Metaldyne Corp. said last week a $40 million contract it just landed with an Asian automaker to provide balance shafts and oil pumps shows that the company's business strategy is working. Metaldyne President and COO Tom Chambers said the contract also shows why the company's decision to be acquired by Shizuoka, Japan-based Asahi Tec Corp.
