Despite tough times, automakers still fuel campaigns.(Focus)

Byline: Sherri Begin Grants made by the domestic automakers and their foundations still play a major role in local nonprofit campaigns, in spite of the challenges they face. The contributions of two of the Big Three automakers decreased last year, but all three are listed among the lead donors in capital campaigns across the region.
