Hamtramck townhouses planned; assisted-living center considered Developer Gil Opaleski plans to start construction next month on a $1.3 million, seven-unit townhouse project in Hamtramck and also is studying construction of an $8 million-$10 million assisted-living complex on a vacant auto dealership site on Jos.

L.L.C. and Platinum Real Estate Sales P.L.L.C., has signed a purchase agreement with the city of Hamtramck for four lots on Mitchell Street north of Caniff to build seven three-story townhouse units facing Mitchell with outdoor decks overlooking Jos.
