The Ann Arbor-based Altarum Institute, a provider of health systems research, has named Mark Kielb senior vice president and CFO. His responsibilities include mergers and acquisitions, and all accounting and finance functions. Previously, Kielb founded and was president of Venture Launch L.L.C., a consulting practice that assisted the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer and Ann Arbor Spark in the analysis and creation of several technology startups.
Kielb holds a bachelor's degree in history from Wayne State University in Detroit and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at UM. CAPTION(S): Kielb
