Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers on Feb. 1 named David Morlock CFO. Morlock has been with the health system since 1990 and served as director of financial planning since 1997, and director of finance for UM's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital since 2004.
Before joining the health system, Morlock was a commercial lender with City Bank & Trust Co. and business manager with Visiting Care Home Nursing, which later become UM's Michigan Visiting Nurses. He earned an MBA at Eastern Michigan University and was a graduate fellow at the Owen School of Business. He lives in Jackson. Morlock replaces Doug Strong, who became CEO Aug. 1. CAPTION(S): Morlock
