'Immunity' overstates case Editor: Your Feb. 26 story about the Michigan House of Representatives' attempt to repeal Michigan's tort reforms shed light on an important issue ("State Senate likely to halt drug-liability bill"). However, the article quotes the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association as saying the current Michigan law grants America's pharmaceutical research companies "absolute immunity." That is simply not true.
