FNBH Bancorp Inc. and First National Bank, both of Howell, have appointed Steven Walsh president and CEO of both organizations. Walsh, 43, had been CFO, consumer banking, for Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati. He replaces interim President and CEO Barbara Draper, who replaced Herbert Bursch after he resigned for personal reasons.
Draper remains on the board. "We conducted an extensive search to fill this position, and I am confident that Steve will provide the leadership for future growth and profitability for the bank,'' Chairman Rickard Scofield said. "He has a proven track record of success and is the perfect fit for the culture of our community bank.''
