Balanced media requires input.

HAVE YOU EVER been bothered by reading an article that you felt was unfair or inaccurate? Certainly, it happens often enough. Indeed, as we report on page 3, a new survey by the American Benefits Council found that a sizeable majority of employee benefit managers feel that the media is neither accurate or fair in its coverage of employee benefit issues.

That finding, says James Klein, president of the American Benefits Council, likely has been generated by benefit managers' dissatisfaction with how the mainstream media is covering stories related to cash balance pension plans and health maintenance organizations.
