WASHINGTON-The U.S. Supreme Court faces an unusually large number of business-related cases as it begins its new term today. In fact, half of the 42 cases that had been accepted for review by the high court by late September dealt with business issues, Roy T. Englert Jr. noted at a Supreme Court preview on Sept.
20 sponsored by the National Chamber Litigation Center Inc. ``That's the largest number in at least nine years,'' said Mr. Englert, a founding partner of the Washington-based law firm of Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck & Untereiner L.L.P. who has won 10 of the 11 cases he has argued before the Supreme Court.
