President Bush said he wants us all to go back to work, to fly on airplanes and to live our lives as we did before Sept. 11. But returning to our normal lives and our normal business schedules after the tragedies of Sept. 11 will not be that easy, especially for individuals in the insurance business.
It's not just that we don't want to get on airplanes, although that is a consideration for some. More important is that we lost so many friends and colleagues in the attack on the World Trade Center. And for brokers and insurers, faced with the largest disaster in history, it is decidedly not business as usual.
