Byline: MICHAEL BRADFORD LONG GROVE, Ill.-Kemper Insurance Cos.' financial difficulties will likely put some of the insurer's policyholders in a quandary. With renewals looming, commercial risks with coverage written by Kemper will have to decide whether to stick with the Long Grove, Ill.-based mutual insurer or move coverage to another insurer in the wake of ratings downgrades, unexpected top management changes and plans to exit some large-account business, brokers say.
