World Updates; Watson Wyatt expands in Ireland.(International)

Watson Wyatt L.L.P. is acquiring KPMG International's pension and actuarial operation in Ireland. Watson Wyatt said in a statement that the deal was part of its plan to expand in Ireland. Terms were not disclosed. The addition of 10 KMPG staff members will bring Watson Wyatt's total staff in Ireland to 60, a spokesman said.

The KPMG division advises clients on the design, implementation, communication and running of employer-sponsored plans.
