GE rebrands ERC, related companies.(Industry News)(Brief Article)

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-General Electric Co., in an effort to unify the branding of its various commercial insurance products and services, has rebranded Kansas City, Mo.-based GE Employers Reinsurance Corp. and its related group of companies as GE Insurance Solutions. While the new brand name will replace Employers Re, GE Re, Frankona Re, Westport Insurance and nearly a dozen other market names, insurance and reinsurance risks will continue to be underwritten by the various existing legal entities, whose legal names will not change.
