CIGNA to pay back Connecticut for benefits commissions overcharges.(News)(CIGNA Corp)

Byline: JOANNE WOJCIK HARTFORD, Conn.-CIGNA Corp. has agreed to reimburse more than $870,000 to Connecticut for overcharges related to the state's dental benefits plan. According to a statement by Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal, between 1989 and 2004 the Philadelphia-based health insurer billed the State of Connecticut Employee & Retiree Dental Benefits Plan for commission charges that should not have been included in the premium.
