They say they hope to see reforms implemented that range from curbs on punitive damages to changes in the way that medical malpractice liability is handled.
The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc., as well as individual risk managers, also are seeking to win the extension of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act, which provides a federal financial backstop to insurers facing losses from future catastrophic terrorist attacks.
