Sungard, Microsoft team up on ProCede prototype.(SunGard Data Systems Inc.)(Brief Article)

London-based SunGard Data Systems Inc. has announced that future versions of its ProCede reinsurance management solution will be based on Microsoft Corp.'s .NET software development platform. ProCede supports the reinsurance process for property/casualty insurers and reinsurers. SunGard and Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft are cooperating in creating the architecture and a prototype of ProCede based on Microsoft .NET.
Microsoft recently launched an "experience Insurance" initiative under which it aims to work with partner companies to improve solutions and technologies for insurance industry companies and their employees.
