SunGard puts products under iWORKS brand.(Tech Focus)(SunGard Insurance Systems)

WAYNE, Pa.-SunGard Data Systems Inc. has brought its entire family of insurance products together under a single global brand, SunGard iWORKS. The move represents a coordinated strategy across all the company's insurance products, according to Wayne, Pa.-based SunGard, that will enable it to better meet customers' needs for products ranging from front-office tools and policy administration to back-office systems for reinsurance, actuarial calculations, and financial and investment accounting and reporting.
The company said its iWORKS product family will be managed jointly by Gavin Lavelle, president of SunGard Sherwood Systems, and Greg Webber, president of SunGard Insurance Systems.
