Integro's recruiting efforts trigger lawsuit from Aon.(Aon Corp. filed a case against Integro Ltd. for violating employment agreements)

Byline: SALLY ROBERTS ATLANTA-After raiding talent from the world's biggest brokers over the past year, Integro Ltd. is now facing litigation over its efforts to build a large-account brokerage from scratch. Aon Corp. last month sued Integro and two former Aon executives now employed by the startup, accusing them of engaging in a campaign to "pirate'' employees from Chicago-based Aon.
Observers note that such lawsuits, which focus on employment agreement violations, are common in the industry and are sometimes viewed as a cost of doing business for brokerages attempting to grow their operations by poaching top talent from competitors.
