Insurers: Greenwich, Conn.-based W.R. Berkley Corp. has named Steven F. Coward president and chief executive officer of Berkley Surety Group Inc., replacing Roger J. Bassi, who has been named chairman of the group. Before his promotion, Mr. Coward was executive vp of Berkley Surety. Boston-based Lexington Insurance Co., a unit of American International Group Inc., has named Peter J.
Eastwood senior executive of AIG Healthcare. He also serves as senior vp of Lexington, and will replace Executive Vp Richard H. Bucilla, who is retiring. Also at AIG, Matthew F. Power, currently senior vp-eastern zone, has been named president of Risk Specialists Cos. Inc., and will assume Mr. Eastwood's responsibilities for product development and marketing at Lexington....
