Business Insurance, January, 2007
FAIRFIELD, Ohio-The Ohio Casualty Insurance Co. has selected Guidewire Software Inc.'s ClaimCenter system to support the Fairfield, Ohio-based insurer's end-to-end claims process for personal and commercial lines of business. The system from San Mateo, Calif.-based Guidewire will replace Ohio Casualty's existing claims system through a phased deployment over the next 20 to 36 months, the company said.
Ohio Casualty expects that moving to the single Guidewire claims system companywide will allow it to streamline and reduce information technology maintenance. The company also hopes to reduce training times, increase productivity, gain greater visibility and insight into claims processes and operating costs, and increase the efficiency of claims operations.
