ATC finds profit in trend toward used automobiles With the used car market outpacing new car sales by a margin of 2 to 1, it's no wonder Westmont-based Aftermarket Technology Corp. is revving up record sales and planning more acquisitions. That's because Aftermarket Technology Corp. (ATC) specializes in retooling and distributing transmissions and engines - essential parts for cost-conscious used car owners.
Three-year-old ATC has been snapping up competitors, most recently acquiring Trans Mart Inc., an Alabama-based distributor of standard and automatic transmission parts and drivetrain components.
