Canada's TrizecHahn, Zell seen as potential buyers of Loop giant The real estate industry's greatest buying frenzy in a decade will soon claim the biggest catch of all: Sears Tower and its 3.4 million square feet of office space. Real estate industry sources say the owner of the 110-story building, a trust affiliated with Boston-based money manager AEW Capital Management L.P., is in serious talks to sell its interests.
One would-be buyer is identified as Toronto-based TrizecHahn Corp., a publicly held real estate giant whose commercial office division is based in Chicago.
