Ad heyday ending with Burnett deal ; Sale of Bcom3 leaves city with niche agencies.(Brief Article)

With the sale of Leo Burnett parent Bcom3 Group Inc., Chicago is losing its largest independent advertising agency-and its remaining clout as an advertising center. Though the North American headquarters will remain in Chicago, decision-making will shift to Paris, headquarters of Publicis Groupe SA, which is buying the seventh-largest advertising agency group for $3 billion.
