Now, he's trying to be helpful to hardware men, among others, as head of commercial lending for Rosemont-based Banco Popular North America. Mr. Stiles, who began his career with Ace Hardware Corp. launching stores in the Midwest, switched to banking and landed at Chicago's American National Bank.
