DEVELOPER SIGNED FOR BLOCK 37 TOWER Lincoln Property Co., a Dallas-based real estate firm, has agreed to develop a 350,000-square-foot-plus office building on Block 37, the long-vacant Loop parcel across from Marshall Field's, according to people familiar with the situation. A spokeswoman for Mills Corp., the Virginia-based company picked as master developer of the site, declined to comment, and a Lincoln executive did not return phone calls.
But James F. Dausch, president of Mills' development division, told Wall Street analysts in a conference call last week that Mills had signed a letter of intent with a major office developer for the office portion of the mixed-used project.
