DaimlyerChrysler drinks deeply from DePaul.(Focus: Alumni)(Column)

Byline: Mark Henricks Of 80 people hired in the last two years by Lisle-based DaimlerChrysler Services, at least seven have come from DePaul University's MBA program. That's an unusually tight connection between a single university and a 350-employee unit of the world's largest automaker.
It didn't happen by accident. "Two years ago, we were looking for a local university that would have a curriculum more closely tied to what our business needs,'' says Ann Kainz, human resources manager for the company. The MBA program through DePaul's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, with its international finance and marketing features, fit the bill.
