Brett Chase, 40, has joined Crain's as a reporter covering the health care and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Chase most recently served as deputy business editor of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Before that, he was an assignment editor and reporter at Bloomberg News and served as Midwest bureau chief for American Banker in Chicago.
Mr. Chase is a graduate of Drake University's school of journalism in Des Moines, Iowa. Gregory Meyer, formerly a reporter with the Chicago Tribune and the Times of Northwest Indiana, has joined Crain's as a reporter for its Web site, Chicago-Business.com.
