After the world's top Coke bottler consolidated North American operations last summer, reducing 20 territories to six, Julie Francis was put in charge of the Midwest region-the largest geographically. Despite flat sales nationwide, Ms. Francis slightly upped the number of cases sold in the Chicago area and most of Wisconsin, a smaller territory she'd run until it became part of the larger Midwest division.
