Byline: Sarah A. Klein Without exaggeration, the Treo 650 is the most significant benefit to mankind since the invention of the plow. I bought one the first day it was available, even though the earlier version wasn't that great. I just love it. Compared to the Treo 600, it has a sharp, powerful, well-lit screen and more memory.

I keep 2,200 contacts in it and can call up any one of them using my thumb. It's also my MP3 player and a Web browser. I use it to settle arguments at cocktail and dinner parties. It's so nice to have the right answer to questions like "Who was president before Lincoln?" (Editor's note: It was James Buchanan.) It puts an end to the haggling. That's just the beginning of it. It's also a camera, which I use to take pictures of wine I've enjoyed....
