time inc.'s fortunate son Fortune magazine is living up to its name. The biweekly business title is publishing the largest issue in its history this week. What's more, at 636 pages, it's the largest in publisher Time Inc.'s history. Even In Style, the hot fashion and celebrity mag, has only 560 pages this April.
The ``Fortune 500'' issue carries 398 advertising pages and is so fat, it required a separate printing plant to accommodate it. ``I've got the bragging rights in the building right now,'' says Publisher Michael Federle, who notes that Fortune is attracting lots of new advertisers these days, including fashion brands like Armani, DKNY and Ralph Lauren.
