The emotional shock waves from the attack on the World Trade Center have rattled every New Yorker. Now we must brace for the economic reverberations. The economic fallout is extending across the city, well beyond lower Manhattan. It is rocking firms serving the airline industry, companies in the travel and tourism business, media and the advertising industry, financial services, caterers, non-profit organizations other than those directly responding to the disaster, and more.
