Like many, David Zedeck was into music as a student at Brandeis University. The Doobie Brothers, Styx and Blue Oyster Cult were all favorites. But while some of Mr. Zedeck's classmates hung on every note at school concerts, his interests were both more logistical and more ethereal. ``I just loved being part of the event, loved seeing an empty gym ballroom fill with 2,000 people and then go empty again within hours,'' says Mr.
Zedeck, who by his senior year had become Brandeis' concert coordinator. Today, Mr. Zedeck is still filling concert seats, only on a far grander scale.
