Nelson peltz and peter May have made a fortune from foods and beverages, and now they're hungry for more. The two are chairman and president, respectively, of Triarc Cos., a holding company whose revenues are derived primarily from franchising Arby's Restaurants. Over the past two decades, the duo has established a reputation for buying troubled brands like Snapple at bargain-basement prices, then sprucing them up for resale at a hefty profit.
Now Triarc's stock is attracting the attention of investors who expect the company to pull off another lucrative deal.
