Awkward moments at museum dinner? The museum of the City of New York's annual business awards dinner tonight may have its awkward moments. In keeping with tradition, the mayor will present the award, this year to Goldman Sachs. Mayor Michael Bloomberg, of course, recently scuttled the museum's plans to move to the Tweed Courthouse after a new board had raised millions of dollars for that purpose.
Museum officials say that they are honored to have the mayor at their institution, but that he won't be staying for dinner.
