He had a point, and my efforts to cut back seemed to be rewarded in the past two weeks.
A collection of unlikable types got theirs. First came the resignation of Brooklyn Councilman Angel Rodriguez, who finally pleaded guilty to extorting a developer in return for supporting a supermarket project in his district.
