Byline: philip lentz Political insiders say that Sen. Charles Schumer has begun to mull the possibility of running for governor in 2006. ``He's thinking about it,'' says one colleague. Mr. Schumer's current political priority is winning re-election in 2004. But analysts note that the senator had considered running for governor before he sought a Senate seat in 1998, and that he will lose clout in Washington next year when the Democrats become the minority party in the U.S.
