Comcast installs itself in ad agency's spot; Cable company sublets from Interpublic; Brookfield finds itself on space mission.(Real Estate)

Byline: lore croghan The largest cable company in America has sublet 60,000 square feet from Interpublic Group of Cos. at the Grace Building. Comcast Corp. signed a seven-year deal for two floors of the 1970s-era skyscraper, whose address is 1114 Sixth Ave. It will use most of the space for a newly created national ad-sales group.
The Philadelphia-based firm boosted its size through the recent acquisition of AT&T's cable unit, and now has more than 21 million subscribers in 41 states. Asking rents are $66 to $68 per square foot for space at the Grace, which is rented directly from landlord Trizec Properties Inc.
