Newsweek Publisher Greg Osberg says one-third of advertisers scheduled for this week's issue requested to move their messages to a later date-a total of nearly 15 ad pages.
Time Associate Publisher Matt Turck says about 25% of advertisers made a similar request of his magazine. Even so, the executives say the situation could be worse. ``We haven't had any outright cancellations,'' says Mr. Osberg. ``Just transferring of issue dates.'' The newsweeklies saw growth for the first two months of this year. Newsweek's ad pages jumped 15% and Time's increased 5%, according to Publishers Information Bureau....
