Andrew Cuomo takes new job former gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo is taking a job with a friend he made on the campaign trail, real estate whiz Andrew Farkas. Mr. Cuomo will act as a partner in Island Capital Group, the real estate investment banking firm Mr. Farkas formed last spring following the sale of Insignia Financial Services.
Mr. Cuomo will focus on international real estate opportunities, especially in China, Mexico and South Africa. He is also planning a tour for his book Crossroads: The Future of American Politics, scheduled to be published by Random House later this month.
