NY's immigrant scholarship.(Viewpoint)(New York, )

Last week, two students at the City University of New York were named Rhodes Scholars, a singular honor for the two young men, their university and New York City as a whole. That the two men are both immigrants from the former Soviet Union is an important sign that a revitalized CUNY is once again a pathway to take new Americans to the nation's highest scientific and professional ranks.
