Social Security deserves calm debate.(Viewpoint)(Editorial)

Byline: Mike Clowes Social Security reform will be a primary objective of the new Bush administration, with private accounts for younger workers being a key part of it. Already, a great deal of heat is being generated by a debate that has barely begun. The New York Times entered the fray recently with a remarkably unconvincing (for The Times) editorial on the issue.
Its main thrust: There is no problem with Social Security because the trust funds won't run dry for about 50 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
