As outside activities increasingly occupy Mr. Deutsch's schedule, some wonder whether Deutsch Inc. is suffering from its leader's absence. In the past 12 months, the agency lost two of its largest accounts, Mitsubishi Motors and Revlon, while another, Bank of America, shifted to sibling Interpublic agencies.
