The authors of a book claiming that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene have sued the publisher of The Da Vinci Code, arguing that its author, Dan Brown, stole their concept--as if thousands of works of fiction were not based on nonfiction books.

Washingtonpost.com jettisoned conservative columnist Ben Domenech after charges of plagiarism were leveled--though his real crime was supporting President Bush in a city where he is anathema.
