Byline: Hilary Potkewitz the head of any startup could identify with Marc de Grandpre. His staff is working out of a temporary space, and he can't put his marquee outside because the building is owned by another company. And after nearly a year, the security guards still don't remember his name.

Mr. de Grandpre is the managing director of the New York Red Bulls, the area's Major League Soccer team, and the temporary space is Giant's Stadium. To get to their locker room, players must walk around to the back of the stadium and enter through an unmarked door. It doesn't exactly feel like home. "You should have seen what it looked like before,'' Mr. de Grandpre says. At least there's a fresh coat of paint--blue and silver--and the club's posters on the walls....
