Byline: from staff reports and bloomberg news reports Schools settle with Cuomo Pace University, New York Institute of Technology and Molloy College of Rockville Centre, L.I., entered into agreements with New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo (above) to reform their student lending practices.
The settlements are the latest extracted by Mr. Cuomo in a probe of the $85 billion student loan industry. So far, a dozen schools nationwide, including the State University of New York system and St. John's and Fordham universities have made deals with the AG. Separately, San Francisco lender Education Finance Partners agreed to pay $2.5 million into an education fund.
