UK private equity firm CVC Capital Partners is acquiring Dutch headquartered chemical distributor Univar for 1.5bn [euro]. The deal is being handled by the Dutch arm of CVC's Ulysses Luxembourg operation. The deal is expected to be completed during Q3 2007.
