No partners for Rhodia yet

Rhodia, which was the subject of much international speculation in early November, has called off talks with Clariant. Initially, rumours had suggested DSM and BASF might be in the frame as strategic partners for the French speciality chemicals company. Rhodia confirmed it had held preliminary discussions with Clariant over the summer, but that these 'did not lead anywhere.'
