Swiss pharma major Roche is acquiring US biopharmaceuticals concern Memory Pharmaceuticals for 50m [pounds sterling]. Memory specialises in the treatment of central nervous system disorders including Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia, and has been partnering Roche in clinical trials of drug candidates in these fields.
